We broke down the necessary information into 3 sections, so please read all to get the full picture of the healing process:

It is important to know that the color you see during the first days is not the final color. In fact, you will need to wait around 4-5 weeks after any session to see the final results. The key thing here is to be patient and trust the healing process.
Keeping your lips clean and moisturized is crucial in the first few days. It is important to keep your fingers away from your lips, and use the ointment as per the instructions below.

First 10 Days:
•Don’t touch your lips or pick at the scabs or skin that starts peeling off.
•Don’t get the lips soaking wet – no long hot showers, no swimming, no excessive sweating (this includes saunas and steam baths). Try to avoid working out if you can.
•Don’t get toothpaste on your lips.
•Don’t put any makeup or care products on the area besides the prescribed aftercare ointment.
•Don’t eat spicy or very salty foods – they’ll sting.
•Don’t drink anything too hot – it’ll trigger swelling.
•Don’t drink alcohol – it will burn and dry out your lips further.
•Don’t expose your lips to the sunlight. No tanning in the sun or in tanning beds for 3-4 weeks.
•Don’t sleep on your face.
•Don’t get teeth whitening
•Pro Tip: Use a straw to drink for the first 2 days.
